- Johanna is discussing a contract with another local contemporary company. Stay tuned for more information.

- Johanna is working as an active substitute ballet teacher for Chicago Dance Medium.

​

- Johanna completed her first season with Alluvion Dance Chicago under the direction of Johnny Huntoon. Johanna was involved in 5 performances with the company: "855 Peterson Drive," "in/house," "Work in Progress Showing," "Alluvion Dance Chicago Benefit," and "Emergence."

- Johanna made her choreographic debut in Chicago through Alluvion's "in/house" with her contemporary piece "A Friend in You." 

​

- Johanna worked with a fellow Chicago artist, Joseph Roark, to create a concept video entitled "The Ballerina & The Swordsman." Check out that piece of work here:  https://www.facebook.com/roarkstunts/

- Johanna was cast as a featured dancer in a short film, Soft, directed and choreographed by DaNiro Elle Brown. Filming was completed in January 2017, and Soft premiered in May of 2017 in Chicago, IL.

- Johanna graduated from West Texas A&M University in May of 2016, and has moved to Chicago, IL to expand her professional dance career. She is currently taking professional level classes, pursuing dance company work and dance in film.
